Douglas Bowie Landscaping and Plant Hire is the trading
name of Torrance Transport Company Ltd.
Torrance Transport was established by Douglas Bowie in 1969.
The company's main business then was haulage contracting running loads from Cadder brickwork to sites all over Glasgow and
surrounding areas.
As the company has grown it has moved away from haulage contracting diversifying
into hard landscaping, grass cutting & ground maintenance, gritting services and road sweepers.
Today the company is run by Robert Bowie, Douglas's son.
